I would like to remind you all, once again, about the possibility that we do not know what we think we know – we only think we know what we think we know.
I know the mind is not happy with this.
The job of the mind is to know – for our protection.
What you may have noticed is that, over the years, what you thought you
knew is not only no longer relevant. Many of the things we were told at
school as absolute facts, are not longer so.
When we have a major leap in consciousness the tendency is to think that
‘This Is It’ – when in fact, it may be just another level – of the unknowable.
How is this relevant in each moment?
For our maximum potential, we need to look at everything “as a little
child” – not knowing. That is the most intimate we can be – with each
other, and ourselves.
So it is a sort of looking at everybody and everything as if it is the
first time. In fact, it is. “Every second is the first second of our life.”
As an experiment you could play with this. Look at everything as though
you are a visitor from another planet, and are not familiar with anything
here. When you look at a person, or a flower, you do not have a label/name
for it.
Fascinating.
