Sharing with a friend: Behavioural patterns are a social lubricant and a barrier to our true self.
Transcript:
About behavioral patterns…
That is what we do to disguise ourselves, to fit in. And we all do it to some extent, and some more than others. But in your moments of clarity, you can see what people are doing. And how -this is not a judgmental term, it is a compassionate term- how pathetic it is, that these beautiful beings have to try and be something they are not, in order to stay in with the crowd. Not to be alone. Get approval and not disapproval.
And if you do drop your behavioral pattern, you stop doing the things that are the social lubricant. You are different. And people here don’t even know what the difference is but they sense it and feel uncomfortable: This person isn’t playing the game. They are being themselves. They are bringing the inner layer to the front and being themselves. That isn’t the game. That isn’t the social game.
And then, what is your priority?
Yesterday, I forget when you were saying, but you said, “My resistance is that…”
That is No, I am not going there. Lay off. Resistance is more of a socially accepted word. “I have a resistance to it”. That is NO. I am not going there. And if you don’t want to go there you don’t have to go there. Nobody has to do anything but then you are going to stay in that state. And you know there is another state but you want it on your terms.
Your terms are the barrier between The State. All terms have to go. Thy will be done
