Hi Love,
>How is all this in your experience Paul? Love to know how it appears there? Does it all settle down after a while into just a flow of being?
Yes, and it is an interesting question for me — because I don’t really know how it is. It just is. It seems I can attempt to answer from so many… angles. From what we could call the ultimate place that is being realised at this moment, there is nothing at all to say — it is not like anything, because it is not an anything, it just is. From other angles we could say that everything unfolds, and there is an awareness, but it is not a constant awareness of awareness. It just is.
>There have been so many ideas about what ‘this’ is, and what it will be like. It’s been a shock here that there still appears a sense of ‘ego’ arising within the spaciousness of freedom.
This too, will pass… As I see it, the state encompasses everything, on every level, and, we are more aware of some of the levels, and not so aware of others. What is called Ego, the sense of self, is there, as is everything, but now it is fading into the background.
>That’s surprised me as i had all these ‘ideas’ that awakening would be this ‘Buddha-type-zone’ of love
It is the ideas of what the state will be like that keep us from the realisation that we are already awake.
>…and somehow this ‘ego’ play would be diminished to a nothing.
The ego does fade into the background — when we will let go of the sense of a separate self. It is this idea of what we think the state will be like that is in the way of the realisation. Best to let go of ideas — all of them — including the ones you are getting reading this.
>It seems to appear from ‘nothing’, and what i call ‘ego’ seems to be a collection of thoughts and feelings threaded together to form stories and these stories have been invested in to be ‘true’ and therefore defended.
Great that you are seeing that.
>So it seems these stories, thoughts and feelings all still appearing but there’s awareness of them.
Yes!
Sending you lots of love, and encouragement…
