Someone wrote telling me how they are grieving
about the death of their son.
Here is my reply.

Hi Love,
You say you would be glad if I answer you.
I do not know what to answer.
I seem to be in such a different reality to most people.
To me, most people are who they are, and do what they do –
in a dream state. They do what they do, and be who they are.
(And I wonder how much I am not seeing, and being like that as well.)
People do what they do. They are who they are.
Of course I know all about basic conditioning
and how that effects our lives,
and overall it does not seem to matter – in fact, overall,
nothing seems to matter – unless we make it matter.
Of course I do not know if this is correct, but to me
it keeps coming down to the same thing – be here now.
I just can’t see another perspective other than not thinking
about the past, or the future, and just be in the moment,
just the way it is.
And that includes how we are feeling in each moment –
whatever we think is the cause.
It seems that most people keep finding an excuse for not
having their life the way they want it, and yet not doing anything
practical to bring that about – as though they are helpless.
Yet we see, over and over, when someone really makes great effort,
anything is possible.
I wish you well in your life and send you love…
