What is Love?
Being with what is, just as it is.
Transcript:
Clare Soloway has just had a complete transformation. She had a car accident – somebody hit her from behind, she was knocked unconscious – and when she came to, she is a different person. She is different – totally. She is in the zone now.
And what is this zone? It’s love. And what is love? It’s being with what is, the way it is now. That’s love. We could say, it’s acceptance, but that has an opposite. It’s not acceptance, it’s just … this is the way things are.
Now, this is what happens, or … it’s what happened for me, and what … from what I’ve read, it’s happened to many people in this way. It does happen in the Satori group. There is a click [click!], and suddenly time stands still, and you see … it can’t be explained, but I’ll just try.
Let’s say – [laughing] it isn’t true, but let’s say – you see the depth of everything and everybody. Yes, you see their behaviour, and you see behind their behaviour, what they’re doing that behaviour for, and what’s behind that, who they really are … and you see that, and you see that, and you see them and see them, and where do you go? The Unformed. The Source. That … and again … you see, it’s not we’re part of That, we are That. We are That. And what is “That”? My interpretation is love. Love.
When Clare Skypes us now, when she emails us, it’s love – it’s all about love. That’s what it is. And that’s what you are. That’s what we all are. And for some reason, I don’t know, we’ve got caught up in this thing, and we’re going round and round doing the same thing, until we slow down … we stop … and we be here now, with things just as they are, just as they are! That includes you – your judgments, your anger, your disturbance – it’s tiny, it’s nothing compared with who you are! A ripple on the surface of the deepest ocean.
Thou Art That. You are. You! Even when you’re upset, even when you’re angry, even when you’re lying – it’s still you! You’re still That! These things are nothing. Don’t take them so seriously. When you see them .. d’you know what? You laugh! It’s not terrible. You say, “Was I really like that?”
Clare’s just written to us and said, “I feel so much love for this person that I used to be, and how much pain she was in.”
Love.
All you need is love.
