Letting go of the way the mind sees reality- letting go of duality.
Transcript:
Here’s something else I find very interesting.
When people have an awakening, it’s unique to them, even although, on one level, the awakening is identical with everyone – let’s say it’s the same frequency or the same vibration – and everyone has a different … “being with it,” has a uniqueness with it. Awakenings of people that have disconnected completely from their behaviour, their character, their patterns – they become unique. Even although something’s the same, they’re unique.
Just three that jump – Kira, Clare, Dirk – they’ve had awakenings. And they’re all very different, and yet at the same time, the same. [chuckling] What’s the overall word? Delightful! That includes the word light, you know.
“When thine eye be single,” says Jesus, “then will thy body be full of light.” “When thine eye be single.” Now what could that mean? No more duality. Not good, not bad. Not pleasant, not unpleasant. Not here, not there. Not past, not future. Not possible, not impossible. “When thine eye be single” – when you let go of duality, which is the way the mind sees things. It’s the only the way the mind sees things.
Being open … heh [chuckles] … being open. The Satori group will help you with that. It’ll give you a flash, at least. Being open. “When thine eye be single, then will thy body be full of light,” but not light that’s opposite of darkness – another sort of light. “The peace that passeth all understanding.” Not the peace that is the opposite of war – it’s a different peace. A stillness. And as Willie Nelson says, “The stillness, that is still moving.” Empty … full! Not only of the Oneness, but the Oneness. “When thine eye be single.”
So as an experiment, every time you find yourself saying “it’s bad,” take a look. And listen: every time you say “it’s good,” stop, and listen. It is. And so are you – not good, not bad – you are. And not only that, you are absolutely, delightedly, unique!
