Hi Love
On IMLtalk you say:
“I suspect that for males, the connection to that particular flow (sex)
stays strong and doesn’t diminish as it does for some (certainly not all)
women. The yin and yang thing of this experience is always fascinating.
It would be great to hear more from the ‘male perspective’ here.”
I think the sexual energy in both men and women is grossly suppressed,
and thus stays un-naturally active when getting older.
It does seem to stay stronger in men. And for most people the urge
is supported because life generally is boring for them.
In my experience there is something beyond sex –
same as there is something beyond love. (More advanced subject.)
Because of the gross suppression in the early stages of life the sexual
urge gets unbalanced. Even if you are brought up in a sexually liberated
situation, the general attitude about the subject infects – one way or the
other – either suppressed, or over compensated.
If a healthy sex life is supported then the urge side of sex diminishes,
and it is seen and experienced in everything.
Then comes another stage – the sexual dimension disappears into –
The Something Else.
And no hurry – best to enjoy each stage – totally.
