This is not one to scan quickly through. Needs some time.
If you would like to get anything at all out of this one you will need to
take some time to sit, and really be with what is attempting to be shared
– because it is impossible to share this!
If you tune in to this, will you see how virtually impossible it is to
share to the mind: how the mind cannot see, what it cannot see.
(Lao Tzu says: “The truth cannot be said, and if it is said, it is not the
truth.” And maybe, although it cannot be said, it can be heard.)
Just to get a glimpse, imagine this… and don’t just read it, imagine that
you really, really need to… describe to someone, who is totally colour
blind, the colour Red. They only see in shades of Black and White, and you
need to describe to them the colour Red. See what I mean?
If it was a blind person, they can feel the shape of an object, but colour
cannot be described – except in terms of what it is not – it is not Black or
White, or any shade in-between.
So attempting to explain to the mind something it does not have the
capability to comprehend…. Not easy eh. And even more – when you tell the
mind about something it does not understand, it then construes an idea of
what it thinks is trying to be conveyed, and in doing so gets even further
away from the intended subject.
For instance. We do know that the mind only sees a very limited range of
colours, and only hears a very limited range of sounds.
With sensitive instruments scientists can detect a much larger range – and
so may conclude that they are registering the whole range.
Maybe that is not so. Maybe the whole of what we are calling reality is
just being made up by the mind.
It may be that our whole idea – of everything, is but a fraction of
reality. Or, does not have to do with anything ‘real’ at all. Maybe our
collective minds are making up everything.
(In fact, there may not be anything that could be described as reality.
That is a more advanced course.)
What about touch you say? It has been reported that a scientist has
produced vibrations that give the sensation of touching solid objects.
So is it possible to experience ‘reality’ at all?
In the East, where they have studied this, they say that what we call
reality is Maya – Illusion, and the only way to go beyond the illusion is
to meditate – for a very, very long time. Very.
(In fact it is possible to get a glimpse, or even an extended state,
through the Satori Group with Clare Soloway or Kira Kay)
What happens with a Satori is not really explainable to the mind.
Jesus says: “There is time no more.”
And: “The peace that passes all understanding.”
So how to explain something that is not explainable!
And here we are!
Whatever is and is not reality, we are experiencing, what we are
experiencing. What we could look at though – is everything.
Is there another depth/level? To everything?
In a Satori everything is very clear, and obvious that before Satori what
we thought was real, was not real. (And was real!) And at the same time,
we realise that we did know all of this already, yet were focussing on what
we had been told was reality, rather on what we were actually experiencing
for ourselves.
Another great revaluation in the State of Satori:
no need to take anything seriously.
Trying to ‘get it’ just puts us in more illusion.
So just take it real easy, and let in the possibility that you are already ‘That’
Happy That-ing
