What if, what we call reality, is not real at all !
What if everything anyone has ever said about reality
is just a concept of the mind. (Even the so-called experts.)
What if what René Descartes said:
“I think, therefor I am” – is more like:
I think, therefor I think I am.
Or, even: What I think, creates the illusion of what I think I am.
Just as an exercise, imagine:
there actually isn’t anything *out there.*
Just imagine, as in the idea behind the movie ‘The Matrix’
and what the Eastern Masters, and now some scientist
are saying – everything is Maya – illusion, and we really are
a figment of our own imagination.
Just the idea changes perspective a bit eh.
There is a wave of Extra Terrestrial info on the web at the moment.
Sit still for a moment, and imagine there are such beings.
Consider – where does that place us in the hierarchy of the universe.
As part of this exercise, imagine that what we see as *true*
is only so because we have been programmed to see it that way.
The way religions, spirituality, education institutes, governments,
and commerce have brainwashed us into thinking.
Now, if you can, disconnect from the thoughts of everything,
and just feel yourself here now, just as you feel you are.
In one way, the world is still ‘out there’ waiting for your return –
to what it calls reality, and there maybe a sense of Something Else –
way beyond what the mind is capable of conceptualising.
Play with the idea a bit.
You may find that nothing is as serious as it used to be.
A new lightness, where nothing is more, or less,
important than anything else.
